Pipe Dream works standalone without ServiceM8. However there are a number of benefits to adding a ServiceM8 integration with Pipe Dream, including:

• Usage of ServiceM8 Job numbers to link your work entries together
• Pulling in ServiceM8 Job data to prevent double-entry and mistakes, including Job Reference, Customer Name, and Invoice Amount.
• Seeing reports of your profit, and profit per hour, grouped by ServiceM8 job category

To add a ServiceM8 integration, simply go to Settings → Integrations → Add New ServiceM8 Integration, and follow the instructions from there.
